Dr. Béatrice Finance is a member of the advisory board at Intelligencia. She holds a Ph.D. l’Université Pierre et Marie Curie, France. Currently, she is an associate professor at Université de Versailles Saint-Quentin and a member of the DAVID research lab at Versailles, France. In July 2006, she received her “habilitation à diriger des Recherches” from the University of Versailles on the theme “Transparent and Secure access to large distributed data”. Her research interests include advanced databases, distributed query op­timization, privacy and access control, mediation systems and stream data manage­ment systems. She is responsible for the course ”data management in the Internet of Things” in the master DATASCALE (Data management in the Digital World) at the univer­sity Paris-Sacaly. She has more than 30 publications in international conferences and journals. She also serves on several program committees of national and international conferences.

Dr. Beatrice participated in different national projects funded by ANR. Also, she wor­ked in projects that were supported by region, city council, and the lab. Over the years Dr. Beatrice reached the pinnacle of the knowledge of database especially she has gained outstanding expertise in different types of database engines and data models. In her decades of research works, Dr. Beatrice developed novel techniques and me­thods for managing data and query optimization. She developed solutions for distri­buted database management. She led several doctoral research successfully.
