Prof. Mohand-Said HacidMember of Advisory board

Professor Mohand-Said Hacid is a member of the advisory board at Intelligencia. He holds a Ph.D. in computer science awarded by Institut National des Sciences Appliquées de Lyon, France. He is currently a full professor of computer science at Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1. Also, he is the director of one of the most prestigious re­search labs in France called Laboratoire d’InfoRmatique en Image et Systèmes d’in­formation (LIRIS).

Prof. Said’s life-long investigation is focused on designing and developing a complex information system, advanced distributed database manage­ment systems, His research deals with the design, implementation, and convenient utilization of formalisms and inference techniques capable of improving the level of abstraction in designing advanced information systems. Since the last few years, his research is heavily focused on Big Data management Web services, Semantic Web and data security. Prof. Said worked in collaboration with renowned scientists and software companies. He published more than 200 researcher papers in highly reputed journals and conferences.

Prof. Mohand-Said worked and led several national and international projects. He actively participated in several large-scale projects such as S-Cube and COMPASS funded by the European Union. He also worked in national projects including PetaSky, CAIR, AOC, and FORUM funded by Agence Nationale de la recherche (ANR).
