Prof. Salima BenbernouMember of Advisory board

Professor Dr. Salima Benbernou is a member of the advisory board at Intelligencia. She holds a Ph.D. in computer science awarded by Uni­versité Claude Bernard Lyon 1. She is currently a professor at Université Paris Des­cartes, France. She is a member of the LIPADE-CNRS laboratory and GFD (Data Ma­nagement and mining group) where she leads the database team.

Her research interests include Big Data privacy and security, social network, and cloud computing, etc. Prof. Salima spent a conside­rable amount of time to work with data and services. Lately, she has been working in the area of Big Data with a special focus on privacy and security, data fusion, and data quality. Throughout her career, she worked with prominent researchers in France and other countries within Europe. Also, she established collaboration with industries.

Professor Salima worked and led several projects in collaboration with highly reputed research centers within Europe including the European Institute of Service Science (ERISS), the Netherlands and companies such as AXA insurance, France. She worked in European Union projects S-Cube and COMPASS. Also, she worked in national projects including ServiceMosaic and Forum. In recent years, she has been working in Big Data projects focusing on security and privacy include SquarePredict, BrainShare, and Predon.
